HTML TRAINING MODULE
The HTML training module gives you the basics of web development, design webpages using HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Throughout the course you are introduced to planning and designing effective web pages; implementing web pages by writing HTML and CSS code; enhancing web pages with the use of page layout techniques, text formatting, graphics, images, and multimedia; and producing a functional, multi-page website.

Chapter 1. Client Server Architecture
Duration: 3 Hrs.
Overview This chapter introduces different types of Client Server Architecture and guide you through how a client communicates with a server. You'll learn about HTTP's request and response cycle, dig into HTTP headers and verbs

• Explain different types of Client Server Architecture
• Explain what a Web Server is
• Explain HTTP Protocol, request methods and headers.
Chapter 2. HTML and CSS
Duration: 3.5 Hrs.
Overview This chapter gives you an overview and hands-on experience in creating webpages using HTML and CSS.

• Recognize and understand HTML web page elements
• Know how to write HTML code
• Understand and apply effective web design principles
• Enhance web pages using text formatting, color, graphics, images, and multimedia
• Incorporate forms into web pages

Chapter 3. New in HTML5
Duration: 1.5 Hrs.
Overview This chapter gives you an overview on the new structural and form features of HTML5.
Learning Objectives After completing this unit, you should be able to:
• List new elements in HTML5
• Describe HTML5 structural elements - section, article, header, footer, figure, and figure caption
• Describe the attributes of the HTML5 input element – tel, email, datetime, number, range, and color
